EuroDjangoCon Slides
For those interested, the slides from my migrations talk at EuroDjangoCon are up. I believe the videos will be around soon.

I think there's something wrong with the link; i get a 'page not found'
Yep, there's a typo in the link. Here's the right one : http://www.aeracode.org/static/edc09slides.pdf
Thanks for sharing ;)
I think you're not being very neutral when doing the comparison - I think South is way better than could be read out from this slideshow. :)
You should also mention that django-evolution has only has a single new SVN patch in several months so its development has virtually ceased. Also that South's migrations are way more flexible and easier to understand than django-evolution's.
One more thing: do you know how many projects actually use South/django-evolution/dmigrations? Also some statistics about the number LOC of each project and the number of SVN revisions/active contributors would be interesting.
I've corrected the link in the post
South is great!
can't wait to check 0.5 improvements!:)
Keep up good work!

LD
Erik: Yes, I've been told I'm too nice. I'll try and be more mean in future. As for usage, a quick audience poll at EuroDjangoCon showed around 90% South usage (among migrations users) - it's a biased sample, though...
Thanks for crashing my Firefox session! Hope you are happy now! Well, I deserve it for forgetting to install that bloody 'PDF download' add-on...
Anyway, I've always wondered ('always' extending back to your last presentation at the DJUGL in March) why you use PDF for your presentations. And actually I'm more curious to know what kind of tool you use to generate the PDF in the first place.
I'll ask Robert about the video, as it seems it's *90%* of the presentation :)
It doesn't work. my firefox has crashed like David one.
I think ther i sone problem.
I don't know. Everything was fine for me. I think you have problem with your configuration.
Thank you for the link
