Trains, Tracks and Times
After Transport For London released their new live departures API, and after Matthew Somerville made a Thing with it, I felt I had to have a go.
Thus, I present Live Line, a visualisation of the trains on Tube lines overlaid on their schematic maps. It currently only does the non-forking lines - the line maps are drawn entirely with canvas, and there's a few code issues - but it still looks quite nice.
The idea, and some of the logic, is borrowed from Matthew Somerville's idea, which uses geographic maps for a similar purpose.
