Maemo Ports
Maemo is the Linux-based user interface the Nokia 770, Nokia N800 and Nokia N810 devices run. Now, I don’t claim to have written Maemo or anything - that label is reserved for other, more hard-working coders. However, I do have a working 770 development environment running; I’ve recompiled a few programs, one of which is here, and am writing new software for the devices all the time - some of this may even eventually get released.
If you’re a user, and want an application ported, contact me and I’ll have a go.

Nano
The lightweight alternative in the VI/Emacs war, and my favourite editor to boot. Available as either ‘nano’ or the smaller ‘nano-tiny’ package.
This version was cross-compiled straight from Debian stable; I haven’t done anything else to it, just port it. You’ll need a few supporting libraries; make sure you have the default Maemo.org repositories and you should be fine. The website for nano is at nano-editor.org.
This is only available in the OS2006 and OS2007 repositories; it’s in the main OS2008 repository these days.
Debs: nano 1.2.4-5 | nano-tiny 1.2.4-5
